Internet from a licensed operator, not a reseller

Comtel holds a Class B ISP licence from the Department of Telecommunications for Mumbai and Gujarat. Your traffic enters our network at the edge and leaves over diverse upstream paths, so one failure upstream does not take you offline.

Ideal for head offices, data centres and any site that needs a dependable primary connection.

  • Licensed ISP operations in Mumbai and Gujarat
  • Diverse upstream paths behind our edge
  • Public IP addressing and related services
  • One accountable provider from your rack to the internet

Latency is physics before it is marketing.

Light in optical fibre covers about 200 km every millisecond. Route length sets the floor for every trade, query and video call. Pick two sites to see the minimum any network can achieve between them.

Sites are Comtel’s data centre PoPs. Route length is estimated at 1.3 times the straight-line distance until actual fibre paths are mapped.

Distances are measured to Comtel’s data centre PoPs, using approximate positions. Comtel confirms every site with a physical survey.

Infrastructure, connectivity and security under one roof.

Comtel Services combines its own ISP infrastructure, enterprise connectivity, secure networking and managed services. You get one network that scales with you and one team that answers for it.

Our own licensed network

We operate as a DoT-licensed Class B ISP, so we control the infrastructure your traffic runs on instead of reselling someone else’s.

Built for financial workloads

Low, consistent latency and symmetrical bandwidth for trading platforms, market data and the systems behind them.

Secure by design

Encrypted tunnels and segmented SD-WAN policy protect data moving between offices, data centres and cloud.

One partner, end to end

Survey, design, provisioning, monitoring and support sit with one team, backed by our parent Comtel Infosystems, which has built infrastructure for NSE, BSE and MCX brokers since 1992.

Engineered for the businesses that depend on it most.

Different industries need different combinations. These are the stacks we design most often.

From first survey to a monitored network.

Every engagement follows the same four stages, so you always know what happens next and who owns it.

  1. Survey and feasibility

We check reach, routes and building access for each of your sites.

  2. Network design

Bandwidth, redundancy, security and SD-WAN policy, written up for your sign-off.

  3. Provisioning and testing

Links are installed and tested against the agreed design before go-live.

  4. Monitoring and support

Our team watches the network and handles changes and faults as one point of contact.

Questions IT teams ask us first.

Something missing? Ask an engineer through the form below.

What does 1:1 symmetrical bandwidth mean?

The line is dedicated to you, not shared with other customers, and upload speed equals download speed. A 100 Mbps leased line gives 100 Mbps in each direction at any time of day.

How does consumption-based billing work on uncapped bandwidth?

There is no monthly data cap and no slowdown after a quota. We meter what you actually use and bill for that. It suits organisations whose traffic varies a lot from month to month or runs at high volume.

Do I need SD-WAN if I already have leased lines?

Leased lines give each site a strong connection. SD-WAN ties those connections together, adds automatic failover to backup links and lets you prioritise critical applications across every site.

Where can Comtel provide service?

Comtel is a DoT-licensed Class B ISP for Mumbai and Gujarat, with points of presence in CDC Naman and STT in BKC, CDC Jet Prime, CDC Everest and STT Technopolis in Andheri East, Yotta NM1 in Navi Mumbai, and STT in GIFT City. SD-WAN and secure tunnels can also connect sites beyond those areas. Share your locations and we will confirm feasibility.

Can you connect our offices to cloud and data centre environments?

Yes. SD-WAN and site-to-site tunnels connect branches, data centres and cloud environments into one secure network.

Tell us where your sites are.

An engineer will check feasibility for each location and come back with a recommended design.
